Carson Smith Scholarship - USOE
The Special Needs Scholarship program provides scholarships to qualified students with disabilities who enroll in eligible private schools. The scholarship is awarded for a term of three years and may be renewed. The amount of the scholarship depends upon the extent to which a student’s disability requires special education services. Tax Break
Many dependents with disabilities qualify for an extra State Tax exemption. Contact the school or program that serves your child and ask them to complete tax form TC-40D.






The Medicine Program
Assists families who can not afford the cost of their prescription drugs. There is a $5.00 processing fee for each medication requested. Send your name and address along with a list of your medications to the address above if you need their assistance.

Utah Assistive Technology Foundation
This is a private, non-profit organization that works with Zion's Bank of Utah to provide low-interest loans to purchase assistive technology and telework devices. Their goal is to assist Utahans with disabilities by enhancing their independence, education, employment, and qualty of life through assistive technology.
